Franklin Teaching Journal

September 9, 2009
Some factors on learning in our classroom I found to be conducive are the well lighted rooms, with tall ceilings, and large windows.  Lost three kids today who were later found in the office because of a recess confrontation with a student from another class.  Lead to some anxious moments when recess monitors and the classroom teacher cannot locate our kids.  Hopefully, a better communication system will be discussed to let the classroom teacher know when students are called inside.  Emphasis in class is not quantity of work, but quality.  Not a lot of endless worksheets with the same repetitive problems.
